Outro template engine para rails...

Markaby (Markup a*s Ruby) é o nome da criança.

Parece bem interessante, mas ainda não sei dizer se começarei a usar em breve.

A idéia da coisa, como o nome sugere, é utilizar ruby para gerar html.

Imagine um *app/view/layout/application.mab (a extensão é .mab!) como segue abaixo:

  head do
    title action_name
    stylesheet_link_tag 'scaffold'
  end
  body do
    p flash[:notice], :style => "color: green" 
    self << @content_for_layout
  end
end

Cara, na boa… ruby é lindo…

Ontem assisti o vídeo do snakes and rubies, foi bem interessante. O Adrian Holovaty (criador do django) impressionou a turma com a velocidade em que conseguem implementar coisas.

Apresentação do DHH também foi boa, gostei da parte que ele exorcisa os céticos ao rhtml :-) Os slides da palestra estão disponíveis para download
